Welcome to Academy Blasting!

For the past 40 years I have been training people all over the world on blasting techniques, blast design, and blast vibration levels. In this time I have developed a unique teaching style in which I combine the theory with the practical, in the field use. This provides students of all levels the ability to learn the high level material and apply it in their everyday work.

I noticed a desperate need for a facility that would teach this to small groups in a classroom setting. I then founded the Academy for Blasting and Explosive Technology, which holds its facility in Montville, Ohio. I have personally taught hundreds of students here, and have brought in other instructors to teach their specialties. This has been a huge success as many people have gone on to lead very successful careers after attending my classes. I then realized something.

While many people can come in person, it is very difficult for a vast majority of people to attend. In order to attend they must get their flights, rent cars, and not to mention miss four to five days of work. This is a huge hassle for many people, and it is because of this I wanted to open up this online course. Academy Blasting is continuing my vision of teaching people all over the world the proper and safe techniques of blasting and explosives on a much larger scale. Now people can sit at home or during their lunch hours at work and watch the interactive videos, participate in the forums, and take the quizzes to help increase their knowledge on this material.
